Well what can I say, I’m a Fab @ Fifty woman, well fifty two really “but whats a couple of years between friends” and I’m sure there are a lot of ladies out there that feel the same… I’m on my own now and a bit passed my sell by date, but I’ve just heard that fifty is the new thirty so I’m well chuffed…
Ok I have this Blog, which by the way is fun to do and if I do say so myself will be great one day, theres confidence for you, that comes with age as do a lot of things, wrinkles for one, a life in a face and something to be proud of, stretchmarks, slightly saggy bad boy’s and belly, well they’re something I am less proud of, but they are who I am and you should alway’s love the skin your in because it’s the only one you have… Now if like me, you have, over the years let things slide south a bit, then it doesnt matter and if you are wondering why the font is so big, well when you get past your sell by date, the old peepers start to go… What are the real signs of aging “besides the old peepers going” well to me they are,
Wisdom Confidence and Strength… Three things that only come with age and experience…
We “are” like a fine wine, we just need to be appreciated, we are full bodied, flirty and fruity…
Personally I think women over fifty are in their prime, we know what we want and what we dont want… We know what will satisfy us sexually “Yes we do, dont pretend we dont” and we know how to, shall I say “ask for it”…
Dont forget ladies that maturity comes with advantages too, for one the kids are grown and out of your hair and if your lucky enough to have grand children “which I’m not yet” but I do have lot’s of niece’s, well you have the joy of watching them grow, you get to give them back and peace reigns again…
One thing age has taught me, is that I am ok on my own and to tell you the truth I rather quite like it now, it’s nice only having “me” to answer to and worry about, although daughter No2 is still at home, at the age of 17 she is well capable of looking after herself, with a bit of motherly guidance…
I had a thought the other day “and yes before you say it, I do sometimes and no it didn’t hurt” just because my hair has gone blonde doesn’t mean the rest of me has lol, “sorry to all the natural blondes out there” anyway getting back to the thought I had, lmao, now I’ve lost the thread, “oh my god, a blonde and senior moment”, I’ll get back to you on that one, if I remember lol… Well I still cant for the life of me remember what it was I was going to say, I suppose it cant have been that important… It does bug me though when that happens…
To be continued…
Cheers…

Hi, Just came upon this blog tonight— GREAT. I am so glad to hear of more 50+s out there who are not afraid to say it as it is. Hey just cause it all decides to migrate south, n’ the old skin may be a little less taut, doesn’t mean that there is no life left. There is a saying that the best tunes are played on old fiddles………. or is that just an excuse we use?? But speak on girl ………… I will add this blog and look forward to more.
